Nursery Art
Many nurseries have themes and I create art to fit with the theme. Other times people give me ideas about things they would like and I create something that will fit their ideas.
For these pieces I am going to work with you on pricing based on your needs (canvas size, paints, hours of work, etc.). I absolutely love to create precious works of art for your newest family members and would love to find out what your ideas are about the pieces!
Portaits from Beloved Photos
By looking at pictures I have create a number of portraits and sketches. This is something I do with pencil and colored pencils. We can discuss your preferred look!
As for cost, this, too depends on the size (I usually do 8"x10", but can alter to whatever size you need). Cost also varies with time and materials (colored pencil takes longer because I draw it out first and then add the color).

There are a number of other ways you can get your preferred art piece. We can discuss what you are looking for and your ideas. This can be something personalized to your home or a friend's likes.
Yet again, cost is determined by a number of factors that we can discuss!

I have created some of these pieces based on the nursery theme or in some cases I looked at photos and created portraits for friends and family.
I got the baby's initials and the nursery colors and created this piece. The mom also likes frogs and there are frogs on the fabric for the nursery so I used one of those frogs in the painting.

I painted this tree in the corner of a nursery. You can also slightly see the origami birds I made and hung from the ceiling with fishing line. The mom put the changing table under the birds so the baby had a focal point.

This is a colored pencil drawing of the previous black and white photo. I added colors using another picture/knowing the girls/imagination. I know that the older girl has a pink blankie so I made the blanket they're on pink.

This is a piece I created for my friend who we refer to as a mermaid. She put it in her guest bathroom.
I painted this mailbox for my friends when they got married. They used it at their wedding for cards and now it is their mailbox!
